Danielle @ Bespoke Curtains and Blinds – Tech LDN Apprentice of the Month

by | Feb 28, 2019 | Apprentice of the Month, TLDN Apprentice of the Month

We’re happy to announce that the winner of Tech LDN Apprentice of the Month is Danielle @ Bespoke Curtains and Blinds

LDN Apprenticeships highlights a clear message of what makes an AWESOME Apprentice; they must show energy, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, ability to take feedback and propensity to take action (EEWAP). Danielle’s nomination is below:

Energy: Danielle has been a breath of fresh air to the company. She has a wonderful and pleasant nature and has integrated seamlessly into our small office. Danielle’s excellent start has put aside any question I had about whether an apprenticeship was the right choice for the company. I can see Danielle being a great success for us.

Enthusiasm: Danielle approaches her work with a positive mindset. She is focused on her tasks and her enthusiasm for digital marketing is obvious. She enjoys her work and seems to enjoy working with our small team. Danielle’s time here has given me the impression she would like her new role to contribute to the success of the business – in short she has given me the impression that she is dedicated and cares. These are great attributes from an employer’s perspective.

Willingness To Learn: This follows my previous comments as Danielle has shown great propensity for her work and tasks. Danielle has overseen a complete revamp of our social media platforms. On our recent catch up meeting she expanded on the different analytics and programs she has introduced to help raise our profile and track the development. I found this remarkable. We have already seen positive feedback and Danielle has already put forward ideas on how we could continue to improve our presence.

Ability To Take Feedback: Danielle is very approachable and a very good listener. Any replies or suggestions are always considered and well thought out. These are excellent qualities and allow for easy and free flowing exchanges. She takes feedback on board and implements things well.

Propensity To Take Action: This one of Danielle’s strong points. In fact, she secured the role by showing excellent initiative in the trial day she spent with us. She kept herself busy throughout the day and showed flair in working through her tasks. I am pleased to say she has continued in this manner ever since. This is crucial to Danielle’s success given we are a small company and she is left to her own devices in many respects. When given tasks, she carries them out efficiently and nearly always at the first time of asking. In addition to this, Danielle continuously introduces new ideas and methods and has begun to create a genuine and important role within our company which quite simply did not exist before her arrival.

Congratulations Danielle!
