We are happy to announce that the winner of Future LDN August Apprentice of the Month is Millie @ Radley Green!
LDN Apprenticeships highlights a clear message of what makes an AWESOME Apprentice; they must show energy, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, ability to take feedback and propensity to take action (
Millie was nominated by her Learning Development Specialist – Phil, and the feedback was provided by Millie’s line-manager and Operations and Office Manager at Radley Green – Charlotte Barrow.

No task is too big or too small for Millie. She goes above and beyond and is so well organised that she can smashes through tasks. She is a crucial part of the team and encourages everyone to work hard whether that is from helping them with tasks or motivating them with social events or encouraging emails.
Millie is the spark of the office, everyone enjoys working with her. She is always coming up with some great new ideas for the office and makes the place run smoothly. Not all jobs are fun and I have had to work with Millie through some repetitive, not very exciting tasks and she has kept me motivated and we have got them done in no time and had a good time working together completing it!
Willingness To Learn
Millie is always asking questions and wanting to know the reason we do things. She has become a real asset. She is the super user of our CRM system. She wants to know why we do things and learns things that are out of her remit. She is very helpful not only in the office with colleagues but also with our clients and candidates.
Ability To Take Feedback
This apprenticeship has been Millie’s first role in an office environment and in a recruitment company. There have been a lot of things she has needed to learn. She questions anything she doesn’t understand and I only have to tell her once. She picks up everything very quickly and if I have told her to go about a task in a different way she questions why and learns and improves with it.
Propensity To Take Action
Millie is the go to girl. She is always two steps ahead and is always thinking ahead I think this is to do with the fact she is well organised. Every morning she sends me her to do list and works her way through it, even working on other adhoc tasks as they come up. We are currently planning a charity event and she has taken the reins and run with it.
Millie proactively did an audit of all invoices that were sent out last year by a previous employee (as invoicing is part of Millie’s role) and found out we hadn’t invoiced a few clients. She then took it upon herself to invoice and chase these old clients. She managed to get them all paid in no time at all. This was thousands of pounds worth of invoices!
