How it works

The LDN Apprenticeships process

LDN Apprenticeships helps talented young people to get their first job and start a career they love.

We believe that recruiting young people based on a CV doesn’t work, so we focus on identifying and developing young people who have Energy, Enthusiasm, Willingness to Learn, Ability to take feedback and a Propensity to take action. We call this #EEWAP.

Our Career Kickstarter events enable candidates to demonstrate their #EEWAP to employers face to face and to secure interviews and work trials without having to rely on a CV.

Successful candidates become LDN Apprentices, who work full-time, earning a good apprenticeship wage and studying towards nationally recognised qualifications that focus on developing digital and technology skills.

When they complete their apprenticeship, the vast majority of apprentices continue working for their apprenticeship employer, others find new jobs or go to university.


Step 1:

Attend one of our unique Career Kickstarter events and learn what makes an awesome apprentice.

Step 2:

Meet employers face to face with our friendly team there to support you every step of the way.

Step 3:

Get to know our clients and show them your #EEWAP through networking, elevator pitches and speed interviews.

Step 4:

Clients you meet on the day will offer you a day long work trial, which replaces a traditional job interview.

Step 5:

If your work trials go well, you’ll get one or more offers. Soon after, you’ll start your apprenticeship.


Complete their year of apprenticeship and gain their qualifications.


Get a permanent job with their apprenticeship employer.


End up in full time work, university or another form of education.

Our results

We’ve been changing lives for eight years and counting

LDN Apprenticeships has helped hundreds of young people to kickstart their career and we’ve supported thousands more to develop their confidence and communication skills. The truth is that our apprenticeships work! For young people and for businesses.

The young people we work with have a 90% chance of being in permanent work or university when they complete their LDN apprenticeship. In addition they get a year of valuable experience in a real job, a fantastic network of friends and colleagues and a learning experience fit for the digital age.

Our clients benefit too. The companies we work with are blown away by the unique and diverse pool of talent we work with. 100% of employers who come to a Career Kickstarter meet a candidate that they want to hire and on average our clients offer interviews to 4 candidates each time they attend.
