We are happy to announce that the winner of Future LDN August Apprentice of the Month is Samiha @ Infinity Works!
LDN Apprenticeships highlights a clear message of what makes an AWESOME Apprentice; they must show energy, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, ability to take feedback and propensity to take action (
Samiha was nominated by her Learning Development Specialist – Steve, and the feedback was provided by Samiha’s line-manager and Office Manager at Infinity Works – Shelly Fraser.

Samiha always arrives with a smile in the morning (A rare thing before most people have had coffee! 😉) She is the first apprentice we have worked with and if shes anything to go by, shes has set the bar high. She puts a lot of effort and energy into all her tasks and is never short of jumping up to help.
Samiha gets involved in as much as she can around the office and is always offering to help others. She takes care to do things properly and cares about getting it right. Her enthusiasm around the office often rubs off on other staff and I am always getting told she is a pleasure to have in the office with a great attitude.
Willingness To Learn
Samiha asks questions when she is unsure and is not afraid to do so. She cares about getting things right and would rather know how to do things properly if she is unsure. Also, when i have something new to show her on a particular system, she is always keen to know exactly what is expected and how things should be done. I never have to worry that she is unwilling to get involved and grow her own knowledge and experience within the company.
Ability To Take Feedback
She is very good at receiving feedback and takes it onboard and immediately make any necessary changes. This was more in the beginning of her time with us, but now theres not much that needs feedback on (other than the good stuff). Samiha has it sorted!
Propensity To Take Action
We have really seen Samiha grow and become more confident in her time with us. She likes taking charge and being the ‘go to/organiser’ of things and has no problem dealing with senior colleagues. (Watching her umpire a game of rounders and telling off directors was hilarious). She is happy and ready to always support the team she is on and anyone else in the office who needs help and is always suggesting improvements or different ways of looking at things.
Samiha has been a life saver as our business has grown from a small to medium company within her time with us.!
