The LDN Community Engagement Academy
Working in collaboration with London Councils we aim to enhance consultation and community engagement skills in Local Authorities. LDN Apprenticeships is proud to introduce a programme that is designed to focus on key areas of community engagement that are valuable to councils.
Westminster City Council have partnered with LDN Apprenticeships to develop an apprenticeship academy specifically for Community Engagement professionals. The Academy has been designed to help Local Authorities to build community engagement and consultation skills across a range of departments including Housing, Children’s Services, Environment and Communities, Safer Neighbourhoods, Central Services and Adult Social Care.
Fully funded by the apprenticeship levy, the LDN Community Engagement Academy is suitable for up-skilling existing staff and also for building the capacity of your community engagement function. Tailored workshops, designed in partnership with the London Councils working group have been embedded into the programme, providing additional training in key areas such as consultation, conflict management and gathering and responding to community feedback.
