About this apprenticeship

LDN Multi-Channel Marketers will contribute to the implementation of the marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a wide range of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the marketing function and activities of the company.

MCM Apprentices will define, design, build and implement campaigns across a variety of platforms to drive customer engagement and retention. They will be the first point of contact for day-to-day activities in marketing teams and will be responsible for allocating higher levels of work to the management team.

Qualification: Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer

Off-the-job Learning: A minimum of 6 hours of contracted hours per week to be spent on off-the-job learning activities

Duration: 16 months (including four months End Point Assessment).

Content: Bespoke learning content available on demand through our award-winning learning management system. Further learning takes place through online live sessions and one-to-one coaching. Learners also benefit from the support of our community of apprentices.

End Point Assessment: 
Assessment method 1 - Written project report with presentation and questioning.
Assessment method 2
- Interview underpinned by portfolio of evidence.

Course Contents

 

+ Marketing Fundamentals

This topic area covers the basic principles, methods and concepts of marketing, including the marketing mix and the promotional mix. It explains what marketing is and how it supports the business's structure, vision, priorities, and objectives.

+ Market Analysis, Planning and Strategy

This topic delves into understanding the customer journey, including offline and digital touchpoints, customer personas, audience segmentation and marketing ethics. It also explores the importance of competitor analysis and how to undertake it, and relevant regulatory and legislative requirements such as data protection, GDPR, cyber security, trading laws, copyright law, and Advertising Standards Authority rules (ASA).

+ Marketing Content and Communication

This area covers brand theory, including positioning, value, identity, guidelines, and tone of voice, and how to create impactful content using principles of design and copywriting for online and offline mediums. It also shows you how to distribute and store online and offline assets effectively, and how to maintain their quality.

+ Marketing Channels, Tools and Techniques

This series of masterclasses and case studies covers current and emerging technologies, software and systems which impact on marketing. It will teach you about the main channels, tools and techniques and the key points about how to use each one to a professional level.

+ Campaign Management

This topic encompasses the entire campaign management process, including research, planning, budgeting, implementation, delivery, and evaluation. It includes managing and operating integrated campaigns across online and offline channels, briefing and managing external marketing suppliers, and understanding the impact of marketing on customer service and the customer experience.

+ Analysis and Evaluation

This area focuses on the tools, techniques and metrics used to measure and evaluate the impact of marketing activities, including user experience, data management and analysis, business objectives, the wider environment, and sustainability. It also covers how to review your brief and goals effectively, budget management and measuring return on investment (ROI).
