We’ve answered some of the most commonly asked questions for you in detail, right here.

Yes - we offer our apprenticeship programmes across England (we started out in London, hence the name LDN!).
If you are applying for an apprenticeship via the LDN Career Hub, it is likely you will need to be a commutable distance from the location of the role you are interested in.
If the role offers remote working, this will be highlighted in the job description on our Career Hub.

There is no definitive answer to this!
If you’re applying for an apprenticeship via our Career Hub - Our best advice is to be ready and available to start an apprenticeship when you apply (excluding any notice periods if you are currently working), so finish any exams, courses, or long holidays first!

You have the right to work in the UK
You have lived in the EU for the last 3 years
You should not be currently enrolled on an apprenticeship elsewhere
You should have a valid passport or birth certificate

You can apply for an apprenticeship without either an English or Maths GCSE.
However, if you have not achieved either GCSE (A-C / 4-9) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English, or Maths - you will be required to complete the corresponding Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications alongside your apprenticeship with us.
All candidates going through the registration process and booked in for a face-to-face interview with our Talent Team will need to do initial assessments in English and Maths, regardless of GCSE results. -
You need to be a minimum of 16 to start an apprenticeship.
We have LDN Apprentices across all of our programmes at different stages within their careers, so anyone at any age over the age of 16 can be an LDN Apprentice!

Depending on the LDN Apprenticeships programme, the duration can range from 15 to 20 months.

If you are applying for one of our apprenticeship opportunities on our Career Hub, all roles are full-time Monday-Friday.
If you would like to upskill in your existing role with one of our apprenticeship programmes, you can be in a part-time role but this may extend the length of the apprenticeship. One of the LDN team will be able to run through how this works!

The level 3 qualification you would achieve on an apprenticeship with LDN Apprenticeships is different from an A Level. During your apprenticeship, you’ll be learning on the job whilst creating real-life work projects that contribute towards your apprenticeship portfolio and ultimately, passing your qualification!

You should have received a confirmation email of your application via the email address provided in your application. If you have not received this email, please check your junk/other folders to make sure it hasn’t ended up in there!

Yes, if you are a graduate, you can still apply for an apprenticeship.
Graduating with a degree would provide you with an equivalent Level 6 qualification. Therefore we would need to make sure you are not overqualified for the apprenticeship you are applying for.
If you have a degree in the industry of the apprenticeship qualification you are applying for - you may be deemed over-qualified for the apprenticeship.

You do not have to pay anything to us or your employer during your apprenticeship with LDN Apprenticeships.
If you are applying for one of our opportunities via the LDN Career Hub, you will be paid a monthly salary by your employer but please be prepared to pay for travel to and from work.
The training costs for the apprenticeship are covered by the apprenticeship Levy. If you are looking to upskill using the apprenticeship in your current role, please contact the LDN team to find out how the apprenticeship Levy works.
