#AOTM100
This April marks our 100th LDN Apprentice of the Month!
Launched back in November 2016, our AotM award has been an important (and popular!) part of LDN Apprenticeships and has since introduced a fantastic opportunity to celebrate LDN Apprentices who have gone above and beyond in their apprenticeship.
How does Apprentice of the Month work?
LDN Creative Delivery Manager Howard is no stranger to the AotM nomination process and gave us an insight into the positive impact the award has on all apprentices across our full range of programmes.
“The AOTM award can work wonders for an apprentice's confidence, morale and self-worth. It helps us to motivate and encourage, to succeed and celebrate.
Crucially, it provides fully deserved recognition of our learners' achievements, which involve not only excelling at work but also demonstrating positive personal attributes, from flexibility and resilience to curiosity and inclusivity.” said Howard.
Once all nominations are confirmed, each finalist is presented to our wonderful Team Leads at LDN to vote on who they think should be the next winner. Due to the outstanding nominations we receive from line managers and Skills Coaches, this is no easy decision!
CEO & Founder, Simon Bozzoli spoke to us about his voting experience…
“We've had some incredibly talented and deserving winners over the years, but what has astonished me is that every time we have to vote, it's been almost impossible to choose a winner.
Apprentice of the month is about showcasing the incredible impact our apprentices make every day. There may have been 100 winners, but for every winner I can promise you there are 10 other LDN apprentices who've had just as big an impact!” Added Simon.
Where are the winners today?
In celebration of the 100th LDN Apprentice of the Month, we felt it was only right to get in touch with some of the very first winners of the accolade, such as Finance Analyst - Aveneesh!
Aveneesh won the title in January of 2017 and found that his apprenticeship was key to building the foundations of his career.
Just like Aveneesh, we caught up with former Digital Marketing apprentice Asia to reflect on her career since finishing the programme back in 2017!
Apprenticeships aren’t always an easy ride and require a lot of motivation and determination to be successful. Previous winner and Business Administrator apprentice Borislav spoke to us about his journey into becoming a Business Development Executive thanks to his LDN Skills Coach!
And there’s even more to celebrate…
Meg shared the amazing news with us that since graduating from LDN, she has now gone on to achieveve her CIPD certificate, developing her credibility within the Talent & HR industry!
Digital Marketing Specialist Tom used his first-hand experience as an apprentice to share some career advice for those seeking employment in marketing.
Could this be you?
The 100th winner will be announced this Friday the 29th April! Keep your eyes peeled across all LDN social channels as we build up to the big announcement!
