Berkeli Halmyradov is from the London borough of Lewisham and was part of the third TalentPath cohort of 2021. With a passion for tech and studying web development in his spare time, Berkeli was completely new to the world of Salesforce.

But with the training and preparation provided by TalentPath - Berkeli was able to pass the Salesforce Administrator Certification on his first attempt! From then, we were able to introduce Berkeli to Salesforce enabled businesses and through our Virtual Career Kickstarter event - landed a role with Orbus Software as their new Salesforce Administrator Apprentice!

We spoke to Berkeli to find out about his TalentPath journey and how he feels about starting his new Salesforce Admin Apprenticeship with LDN!

What experience/knowledge did you have on Salesforce before starting TalentPath?

No experience at all, I was completely new to Salesforce. After I was contacted by LDN about TalentPath - I did some research into Salesforce and with it being heavily tech-related, I immediately became interested in the Salesforce platform.

What was your overall experience of TalentPath?

It's incredible how much work LDN Apprenticeships has put into TalentPath. I felt very informed throughout. Training sessions were easy to digest and Simon (Jones) made sure every person had a relevant task to them, regardless of their experience & pace.

How prepared did you feel going in to take your Salesforce Admin exam?

I was quite confident, having scored 85-90% on mock tests. That goes back to the training I received from Simon leading up to it. The training I received to prepare me for the exam meant I was able to feel confident in myself beforehand. I immersed myself within the platform and benefited by passing the exam first time.

How do you feel your knowledge of Salesforce has developed since your first day on TalentPath?

Since I was new to the platform, I'm really happy with what I've learned so far. I can confidently find my way around Service & Sales Clouds, but there's still plenty to learn and I can’t wait to absorb and take in so much more information over the course of the apprenticeship.

How did you find the Virtual Career Kickstarter event?

It was refreshing. Instead of exhausting interviews, you get to meet people you will be working with and learn about the company in a way that feels very natural.

Now you've landed a role at Orbus, how do you feel TalentPath prepared you to get that position and how excited are you to start the role!

I was given every resource & guidance I needed to prepare for the position and I'm over the moon that I will be working in a field that I enjoy as well as studying the Salesforce Administrator Apprenticeship course at the same time.

What would be your advice to anyone thinking of joining the TalentPath programme?

If you are interested in Salesforce, TalentPath will give you everything you need to make a career out of it!
