LDN’s First Achievement on the Digital Learning Designer Apprenticeship: Beth Henry

It’s a big week at LDN as we celebrate a major milestone—our very first achievement on the Level 5 Digital Learning Designer apprenticeship programme!

A huge congratulations to Beth Henry at Kent County Council, who has officially completed her apprenticeship - with a distinction no less!

Launched in September 2023, the LDN Digital Learning Designer programme has gone from strength to strength, partnering with councils across the country. Beth’s success marks a proud moment for us and for the broader community of learners and organisations embracing digital learning design.

Here’s what Beth had to say about her journey through the programme:

“The DLD apprenticeship has really enhanced my knowledge and skills around learning design and the digital world. The programme structure along with the course content has supported my role at Kent County Council, developing myself and the wider L&D team, the content taught has already made a huge impact on the work that we produce as an organisation.

The apprenticeship has been a positive experience throughout and I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. It’s great to be able to finally have a recognised qualification for Digital Learning Design and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to enhance their learning design skills.”

Beth’s Skills Coach, Nicola Avery, also shared her congratulations and praised Beth’s dedication:

“Beth is a fantastic apprentice who has successfully navigated all aspects of the digital learning design apprenticeship. Whether she is demonstrating a fantastic range of digital learning designs or comfortably leading breakout groups, she is a great inspiration to other apprentices who are en route to their EPA. Her calm dedication and continuous effort have paid off, and I'm delighted for her.”

Beth’s achievement is just the beginning—we’re incredibly proud of her and excited to support many more LDN Digital Learning Designer apprentices as they complete their journeys in the coming months.
